Seas the Day at First Flight Retreat — Come Back Rested

Seas the Day works both shifts: panoramic Atlantic views all day from the top floor, and the best night's sleep in the building after dark. The king master was built for it — a luxury mattress and a light-blocking shade that holds back the sunrise until you're ready for it. No footsteps overhead, no early light, just the sound of the ocean and a genuinely restful morning.

Bright Days, Easy Living

When you are up, the condo delivers: high vaulted ceilings and a bright, open layout with ceramic tile floors, granite countertops, and stainless appliances — including a brand-new dishwasher. The private balcony is furnished for the full arc of the day, with an outdoor dining set for meals over the water and Adirondack chairs for coffee at dawn or drinks at dusk. A pull-out sectional in the great room flexes the space for family or friends, a 55" smart TV covers the streaming, a flat screen waits in the bedroom, and the Keurig handles the mornings.
The beach is steps away, the community pool is there for the in-between hours, and Wi-Fi is included.

Elevator access takes you to the top floor (the elevator is a community amenity, not controlled by the homeowner, and cannot be guaranteed). this unit does not allow pets.

The rental was clean on our arrival. We loved that multiple hangers were available in the closet for our clothes. We love the high top chairs and tables on the balcony, which is one of the reasons we chose this rental the last few years. The Girst Flight staff are always friendly and responsive to our texts. One elevator was down this year but the HOA responded timely. Unfortunately it only worked for a day and was down again. The other elevator still worked. We realize this was not First Flights responsibility. Thank you for making our vacation great! We will be renting again next year!

We have rented at FFR about 13+ times and this past week was a great vacation experience. The only negative was the south elevator was not working. We are happy to climb the stairs most times but checking in and out does require us to use the elevator. The bed linens were clean but scratchy. I usually bring my own pillow cases to put on top so that the pillows are softer on my face. We love FFR and will book again for next year!

The beach front balcony is just the best. We spend a lot of time there when not on the beach. We also appreciate GREATLY the ability to do a Sunday to Sunday rental as the traffic on Saturdays is so bad in the DC area. For us, Saturday morning on the beach when most guests have left is just wonderful. We practically have the beach to ourselves! Don't really have a least favorite comment. The fresh paint at FFR looks great btw.

We love staying here - our 2nd year in 315 at the same time of year. We celebrate our anniversary here and it's a by far, the best place we've stayed on the coast. We travelled yrs. on the NC coast down to Myrtle Beach and this unit and location suit us perfectly. Thanks so much - we'll be back in 2018 if not sooner!
