New to the Outer Banks Dining Guide

Now that COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, it is time to get (safely) back out there! Some new dining options have come to the OBX and we are here to share the news. Keep reading to be one of the first to get the scoop on the new places!

Noosa Beach Grille

Now open 7 days a week! They are calling themselves a soon-to-be favorite and we believe them! The Grille is serving locally sourced, outer banks seafood and fresh innovative dishes. Noosa Beach Grille is actually an extension of owner’s Rob and Susan Stanovsek’s Noosa Bistro located in northeast Ohio, so we have a lot of faith in the experience of these owners. This is local cuisine with an international twist that will surely become an OBX favorite. Reservations are available on their website, so don’t miss out!

The name is sure to draw attention right off the bat to this Kitty Hawk casual dining destination! Named after Lyle Lovett’s song, “If I Had a Boat,” you’ll have to listen to the song to find out for yourself where the pony and boat come into all this!

So who doesn’t love comfort food on vacation? This kitchen knows everyone’s weak spot!

Tommy Karole, also the owner of The Paper Canoe in Duck, is bringing top-notch comfort classics to Kitty Hawk. This cool and casual place features everything from fried chicken to fresh seafood. Karole is passionate about quality ingredients and is a vet in the industry. The P & The B serves local produce, regional & local seafood, all-natural chicken, and North Carolina grass-fed beef. Swells’a Brewing Beer Company

This new brewery has been on the horizon for a while now in Kill Devil Hills. Site plans were first approved at the end of 2020. The new microbrewery would be the 6th in the Outer Banks and features indoor/outdoor dining, a tasting room, an ocean view deck, and a beautiful outdoor fireplace. The owners have reportedly found inspiration for their design from the local Nags Head cottages and are looking forward to this being a community hub featuring local artists. We are especially excited for this opening, as it is located right down the road from us here at the Yancey on Beach Rd! Oceanfront brewery hops are in our guests’ future for sure! With the launch of their Instagram this week, the brewery teases a grand opening sometime this month! (July 2021)

This brand new grill just opened in May 2021! They are serving seafood and American cuisine with a dash of Latin flavor. Their Facebook page has a good bit of info on their team, specials, and live music schedule. The head chef, Alejandro Rodriguez, has had a very promising career so far, having worked with Stripers and the OBX Brewing Station. He brings the Latin flare to the fresh local dishes we love!
