Welcome To The Outer Banks
Welcome to the Outer Banks! We’re excited to have you as part of the First Flight Rentals family. Offering the largest inventory of Outer Banks condo & townhome rentals, we are confident that you will feel right at home during your stay! We’ve put together this quick guide to help you prepare for your trip. Please see our list of travel tips and FAQs below. And, feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions. About Your Rental
Your beach home away from home is waiting for you! There are just a few things you need to know before you arrive.
Check-in is starting at 4 p.m. See your confirmation email for details.
Check-out is 10 a.m.; your condo code will deactivate at this time.
Early check-in and late check-out are available for a small fee, but not every condo is available for these extra services.

All of our condo rentals are non-smoking or vaping! Please do not smoke / vape in the condo, on the balcony, or in the common areas of the building.
What To Bring
Our condos are fully furnished with all of the comforts of home, including basic kitchenware, flatware, cutlery, linens, towels, etc. Our full Outer Banks packing list may be helpful! Here are a few items you will need to bring with you:
- Soaps, detergents (dishwasher, laundry, hand soap, all-purpose cleaners, etc.)
- Hand Sanitizers, Clorox-wipes
- Paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, coffee filters, napkins, etc.)
- Garbage bags (tall kitchen and vanity size for the bathroom)
- Any special pots or pans
- Condiments, spices, salt/pepper, olive oil, butter
- Charcoal + lighter fluid for park grill
- Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, lotions, soap, etc.)
- Kitchen items (aluminum foil, plastic wrap, dish towels, ziplock bags, tupperware)
- Beach items (beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, beach games, beach towels)
- Bedding, blankets, pillows, quilts, or extra towels.
The beds will be made for you upon arrival and there are 2 sets of towels provided per bedroom. Feel free to bring extras, or you can rent an extra set for $10 (per stay) from us.
Vacation Packages & Extras
There’s so much to see and do in the Outer Banks! And, we offer several affordable and convenient packages to help you make the most of your trip.
OBX Beach Bundle - Only At First Flight Retreat
Plan the perfect beach day! This package includes all that you’ll need to kick back, relax, and enjoy our pristine beaches. We’ll deliver the following items to the common area storage area prior to arrival:
- 2 beach chairs
- Beach umbrella
- Padlock for safe keeping
$65 plus tax
Water Sports Rentals (only available at First Flight Retreat) If water fun is on your radar, let us handle the details for you! We offer the following items for rent. Upon reservation, we’ll deliver your rentals directly to your condo:
- Kayaks - single or double
- Stand up paddleboard (SUP)

Pre-Departure Guidelines: Check-Out Instructions
We hope you enjoyed your stay in the Outer Banks! Though house cleaning is included with your stay, we do ask that you complete the following prior to departure:
- Place all trash in bags and take to the dumpsters. Recycling is also located in this area if provided by the community.
- You do not need to strip your beds, the cleaners will do this. Please place the towels on the bathroom floor.
- Place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start the dishwasher prior to leaving. A dishwasher tablet is provided in your welcome bag.
- Check condo for all personal belongings, there is a $35 charge for any items left behind that you want to be shipped to you.
